Product introduction
Construction U-shaped glass (also known as slot-type glass) is continuously produced by the method of first pressing and then molding because its cross-section is "U"-shaped, so it is named. It is a novel architectural profile glass. U-type glass varieties, with good light transmission and non-permeable characteristics, thermal insulation and the sound insulation performance is excellent than ordinary flat glass mechanical strength, simple construction, with unique architectural and decorative effects, can save a large number of light metal profiles, a wide range of uses.
Scope of application
Can be used for airports, stations, gymnasiums, factories, office buildings, hotels, residential, greenhouses and other industrial and civil buildings non-load-bearing internal and external walls, partitions and roofs.
U-type glass classification
By color: colorless, sprayed color, film color. Commonly colorless.
By surface state: fracking, smoothing, fine pattern. Commonly used fracking patterns.
By strength classification: ordinary, tempered, film, reinforced film and filled insulation layer.
Installation process
Frame the aluminum profile and secure it to the building with stainless steel bolts or rivets. Carefully scrub the inside of the U-shaped glass and frame it.
The cushioned plastic pieces, which act as a stabilizing effect, are cut into corresponding lengths and placed in a fixed frame.
When the U-shaped glass is installed to the last piece and the width balance of the hole cannot be loaded into the entire glass, the U-shaped glass can be cropped in the direction of length to meet the remaining width. The cropped U-shaped glass should be installed first into the border and then as required by Article 5.
When installing the last three U-shaped pieces of glass, two pieces of glass should be entered into the border before a third glass seal is installed.
Adjust the temperature telescopic gap between U-shaped glass, especially in areas with large annual temperature differences.
U-shaped glass height is not greater than 5m, the perpendicular deviation of the border is 5mm;
When the horizontal width of the U-shaped glass is greater than 2m, the allowed deviation of the horizontal level of the lateral component is 3mm. When the height of the U-shaped glass is not greater than 6m, the allowable deviation of the component's cross-deflection is less than 8mm.
Clean glass: When a wall is finished, clean the surface and leave traces.
Plug in elastic pads in the gap between the border and the glass, and the pads must have no less than 12mm of contact with the glass and the frame.
Fill in the seams of the border with glass, glass and glass, border and building structure, and fill in the elastic sealing material (or silicone seal).
The load on the border should be passed directly to the building, and the U-shaped glass wall is a non-load-bearing wall that is not forced.
When installing glass, wipe the inner surface clean, after installation, and then wipe the dirt on the outer surface clean.
