The process of manufacturing tempered laminated glass involves several steps. First, the glass is cut to the desired size and shape. Then, each piece of glass is individually tempered by heating it to a high temperature and rapidly cooling it. This tempering process strengthens the glass, making it more resistant to breakage and creating small, harmless fragments if it does break.

After tempering, the tempered glass panels are carefully aligned with the PVB interlayer(s) and assembled into a laminated glass unit. The glass and interlayer(s) are bonded together under heat and pressure, creating a strong and durable composite structure. The interlayer(s) provide additional strength and safety by holding the glass fragments together if the glass does break, reducing the risk of injury from sharp shards.
