At the beginning of 2021, the home appliance giant Konka Group invested 2 billion yuan through its holding subsidiary Jiangxi Konka New Materials to enter the photovoltaic glass field. Regarding the latest progress of the project, Shenzhen Konka A responded on the investor interaction platform that the Jiangxi Konka photovoltaic glass project is actively improving the product yield and quality, and striving to reach production and efficiency as soon as possible.
According to previous reports, Jiangxi Konka has changed the existing two nanocrystalline lines in the Yunshan Nano Plant into two 400t/d solar photovoltaic glass production lines with one kiln and two lines. The total production capacity is expected to be 1,200 tons. The first phase has been put into operation in June 2021, the second phase has also been put into operation in November, and the third phase is expected to be put into operation before June this year. After the project is completed, it is estimated that the average annual output value will reach 800 million to 1 billion yuan.
