2. Soda Ash Price Trend
In terms of soda ash, the overall price of soda ash rose steadily in January. The average domestic price of soda ash at the beginning of the month was 2,648 yuan/ton, and the average price at the end of the month was 2,694 yuan/ton. The price rose within the month by 1.74%. The domestic soda ash price is generally stable to moderately strong. Recently, some soda ash companies mainly maintain low inventory, and the overall trading atmosphere is acceptable. After the Spring Festival, companies continue to start operations and continue to rise. It is comprehensively estimated that the soda ash price will be stable to moderately strong in the later period. It depends on the downstream market demand.
It is expected that the glass spot market will continue to increase slightly this week, and the production and sales of glass spot are acceptable.
