Last week, the main glass contract 2309 fluctuated downwards, and the closing price was 1683 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 55 yuan/ton, or 3.16%.
In terms of spot goods, the national average price of domestic float glass is 2,215 yuan/ton, an increase of 58.82 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 2.73%.
On the supply side, the operating rate of enterprises was 79.28%, an increase of 0.33% month-on-month, and the capacity utilization rate was 80.44%, an increase of 0.59% month-on-month.
In terms of demand, the downstream enterprises in the North China market mainly need to purchase. The prices in East China rose but production and sales slowed down. The prices in Central China rose first and then stabilized, with average transactions.
In terms of inventory, float glass manufacturers had an inventory of 46.123 million heavy boxes, an increase of 1.88% from the previous month.
On the whole, the spot price of float glass has continued to rise recently, but production and sales have slowed down, the operating rate has increased slightly from the previous month, some glass production lines have plans to resume production, and inventories have accumulated slightly.
