Vacuum Insulating Glass (VIG) is a high-performance glazing technology designed to provide superior thermal insulation. It consists of two panes of glass, ranging from 4mm to 6mm, separated by a non-leaded proprietary metal edge seal and a vacuum space.  

 

Unlike conventional IGU, which typically contains air or inert gases such as argon between the panes, VIG minimizes thermal bridging and enhances insulation performance by relying solely on the vacuum.

 

Vacuum Glass offers excellent energy efficiency, soundproofing, and UV protection while maintaining a slim construction and lightweight, making it ideal for use in windows, facades, and energy-efficient building designs.

Vacuum Level	The vacuum pressure between the two glass panes is typically maintained at 10-50 Pa, ensuring a high level of thermal insulation
Thermal Insulation Performance (U-Value)	U-Value typically ranges from 0.3 to 0.6 W/m²·K, depending on the specific thickness, type of glass, and the sealant used
Visible Light Transmittance (VLT)	Typically around 80%-90%, allowing for good natural light penetration while still offering thermal insulation
