By reflective coating
There are two common types: silver mirrors and aluminum mirrors. Silver mirrors use a silver layer as the imaging coating, offering high clarity and accurate color reproduction. Aluminum mirrors adopt an aluminum layer for imaging, which are more cost-effective and widely used in scenarios with lower requirements for image quality.
By the Glass Substrate
Mirrors include regular mirrors, ultra-clear mirrors, and colored mirrors. Regular mirrors use ordinary float glass as the substrate, suitable for daily basic use. Ultra-clear mirrors are made of ultra-clear float glass with low iron content, featuring high transparency and clear imaging. Colored mirrors use colored float glass as the substrate, adding a decorative touch with color filtering effects.
By Safety Performance
They are divided into regular mirrors, tempered mirrors, explosion-proof film mirrors and laminated mirrors. Tempered mirrors shatter into small obtuse pieces when broken, while explosion-proof film mirrors prevent fragment splashing. Laminated mirrors remain intact after breaking, all safer than regular mirrors.
By Environmental Performance
There are non-eco-friendly and eco-friendly mirrors. Non-eco-friendly silver mirrors contain harmful copper and lead in back paint. Eco-friendly ones use passivators instead of copper layers, being copper-free, lead-free and pollution-free.
By Applications
