① Material
a. Glass can be float glass, laminated glass, patterned glass, heat-absorbing glass, coated glass, tempered glass, tempered and semi-tempered glass for curtain walls, tinted glass, etc. Float glass should comply with the regulations of GB11614, laminated glass should comply with the regulations of GB9962, tempered glass should comply with the regulations of GB9963, and tempered and semi-tempered glass for curtain walls should comply with the regulations of GB17841. Other types of glass should comply with corresponding standards or be agreed upon by both supply and demand parties.
b. The sealant should meet the following requirements:
The elastic sealant for insulating glass should comply with the regulations of JC/T486;
Plastic sealants for insulating glass should comply with relevant regulations;
The color difference between the first and second sealant components used should be clear; the validity period should be more than half a year;
The second sealant used for hidden frame curtain walls must be silicone sealant; it must meet the performance requirements of insulating glass.
c. Rubber strip: a rubber strip made of plastic sealant containing desiccant and corrugated aluminum tape. Its performance should meet the corresponding standards.
c. Spacer frame: When using metal spacer frames, they should be decontaminated or chemically treated.
d. The quality, specifications, and performance of the desiccant should comply with corresponding standards.
②The allowable deviations in length and width of insulating glass are shown in the table.
Allowable deviation of length or width (mm)

③The allowable deviation of the thickness of insulating glass is shown in the table.
Glass thickness nominal thickness (mm) allowable deviation (mm)

Note: The nominal thickness of insulating glass is the sum of the thickness of the two pieces of glass and the thickness of the spacer bar.
④The allowable deviations of the two diagonals of insulating glass are shown in the table.
The difference between the diagonals of square and rectangular insulating glass should not be greater than 0.2% of the average length of the diagonals.
⑤ Insulating glass sealant width: The width of the single-pass sealant layer should be calculated and determined, and its minimum width is 10mm±2mm. The width of the double-pass sealing outer sealant should be calculated and determined, and its minimum width is 5-7mm. The strip sealant layer The thickness is 8mm±2mm. Products with special specifications or special requirements shall be agreed upon by both parties.
⑥Appearance: The inner surface of the insulating glass shall not have stains, inclusions or sealant splashes that hinder perspective.
⑦Performance requirements: The sealing, dew point, ultraviolet irradiation, climate cycle and high temperature and high humidity performance of insulating glass are tested according to GB7020 and must meet the following requirements.
※ When the sealing test pressure is 10 ± 0.5KPa lower than the ambient air pressure, the thickness growth must be ≥ 0.8mm. After maintaining 2.5 under this air pressure, the thickness growth deviation <15% is leakage. All samples are not allowed to have leakage.
※Dew point: Lower the temperature of the dew point meter to ≤-40 degrees, and make the dew point meter contact the surface of the sample for 3 minutes. There will be no condensation or frost on the inner surface of the sample.
※Ultraviolet irradiation. There should be no traces of fogging or contamination on the inner surface of the sample after 168 hours of ultraviolet irradiation.
※The climate cycle and high-temperature and high-humidity climate tests have undergone 320 cycles, and the high-temperature and high-humidity climate tests have undergone 224 cycles. After the test, a dew point test is performed. There are 12 samples in total, at least 11 of them are free of condensation or frost.
When insulating glass is used for hidden frame curtain walls, the second sealant of the insulating glass must be silicone sealant, and it must be compatible with the sealant used for structural glass assembly, that is, the two must use mutually compatible sealants. When a certain silicone sealant is used in a structural assembly, it is best to order the insulating glass sealant layer that also uses the same silicone sealant.
