How to Maintain a Glass Table Top

However, as with any material, glass has certain requirements for routine maintenance. This is our guide on how to maintain a glass table.

Avoid damage

Although the glass we use on the glass table is durable. Glass may scratch, scratch and break. Be sure to take care of the glass table every time you move it. If you plan to move the table to a new location, it is recommended to cover the table with appropriate insulation and foam mats to avoid impact damage. In daily use, make sure there is enough space between the table and other furniture to avoid damaging the table easily due to revolving doors. You should also avoid placing large or heavy items on the table that may cause damage.


Clean regularly

The key to maintaining the appearance of the glass table is to clean it regularly. Mix mild detergent with warm water to clean the glass surface. You can buy a variety of excellent glass surface cleaners at your local cleaning product store. It is recommended that you clean the glass surface each time you use the table to keep the glass in a new state. This is especially true if the table is used for dining. It is also recommended that you regularly dust the glass surface with a dry cotton cloth to remove any small debris attached to the surface.


Deep cleaning

If spills are not removed in a timely manner, dirt and residues are likely to form on the glass surface. To remove this dirt, it is recommended that you mix soda with vinegar and then use a scrub sponge to remove the dirt. Be careful when using abrasive equipment such as brushes or sponges. Although the abrasive surface can help remove dirt, it can also cause scratches on the glass surface.
