What is Tinted Tempered Glass?
Tinted tempered glass, also known as body-tinted tempered glass, is a heat-strengthened safety glass manufactured using colored raw glass. Pigments and metal oxides are added during the float glass process to create stable, long-lasting colors such as Grey, Bronze, Blue, Green, and Euro Grey.
After tinting, the glass is hardened through the tempering process, making it 4–5 times stronger than annealed glass with the added benefit of solar heat control and glare reduction.
