Advantages of solar glass
Migo glass uses etching technique to process AR coating, and it is the only one company in China to use this kind of technique. The common technique for AR coating is rolling.
1. More transmittance increase.
Etching can improve the light transmittance 6% or above, but rolling normally contribute a 2% increase for that. The light transmittance of etched glass can reach 99.2% however the best performance of rolled glass is no better than 95%. It is because rolling can only make the AR layer for one side, and etching can do it for both sides.
2. Stability and durability.
The layer of rolled glass is chemical added and stuck onto the surface of glass, easy to peel off. The layer of etched glass is the glass itself, much more stable.
3. Thinner layer. The AR layer is thinner(<100nm) than rolling (around 200nm)
