Why are high-quality mirror sheets made of silver?
Metals are the most commonly used mirror coatings. Because of their reflectivity, layers of aluminum and silver are often used. Silver is the most reflective across the visible spectrum, reflecting 95 percent of light. Aluminum is slightly less reflective yet still can reflect 90 percent of light. Compared with aluminum mirrors, silver mirrors have a better performance in terms of waterproof and moisture-proof properties.
According to the needs of different customers for product quality and price, we provide the following 4 types of high-quality silver mirrors:
1. Clear Silver Mirror (made of clear float glass)
2. Ultra Clear Silver Mirror (made of ultra clear low iron glass)
3. Copper-free Clear Silver Mirror (made of clear float glass)
4. Copper-free Ultra Clear Silver Mirror (made of clear float glass).
Mirror-backing paints our factory use is Fenzi brand Italy.
