Curved Laminated Glass helps to create more complicated structures. The railing is never straight and simple. There are two types of curved glass.
Bent Glass, the glass is tempered just during forming. It is more strong but the limit is the radius should be big enough and it should be only one radius.
Hot Bent glass, there is tooling to mold the required shape, so the structures could be versatile. The only shortcoming is that the glass is annealed glass and could not be tempered.
To increase safety, we could laminate the two pieces of bent glass or hot bent glass with PVB or SGP. In this case, the glass could be used anywhere, around stairs, balconies, or in commercial areas.
