What is Pattern Glass?
Patterned glass is a flat glass made by the rolling method. A pattern roller is used to stamp a pattern on one or both sides of the glass before it hardens. The different textures of the roller create different types of patterned glass.
The surface of patterned glass is embossed with patterns of various shades. Because the surface is uneven, light is diffused as it passes through it. Therefore, when the object is viewed from one side of the glass, the object image is blurry.
This kind of glass is light-transmissive but not see-through. According to its perspective, it can be divided into nearly transparent and visible, slightly transparent and visible, almost invisible and completely invisible. The perspective of patterned glass varies depending on the pattern and distance.
Glass Type and Thickness
There are clear pattern glass, ultra-white pattern glass, colored pattern glass and frosted pattern glass. As you know, clear glass has a slight green tinge due to the iron content in the production of the glass. In contrast, ultra-white glass, also called low-iron glass, is clearer and more transparent. The light transmittance of low-iron glass can reach 91.5%. And the impurity content is low, making its physical properties relatively high.

As for the other two types of patterned glass, gray and bronze fluted glass and acid-etched fluted or ribbed glass are commonly used for doors and partitions.
