What thickness of glass is generally required for office partitions?
If it is a single-layer glass partition, generally 10mm and 12mm thick tempered glass is used. Tempered glass has a strong anti-attack ability. Only the four corners of the glass can be broken. On the periphery of the glass, the glass glue strip is stable, with sealing and elasticity. Even after gravity blows, there will be no fragmentation like ordinary glass, and the tempered glass will fall off in granular form.
If double-layer laminated glass is used, it is generally made of 4+0.38+4mm, 6+0.38+6mm double-layer glass. The characteristic of laminated glass is that even if the glass breaks, the glass will not fall off, but will be pasted on the middle film to protect personal safety. Therefore, the partitions of shops and many glass doors are made of tempered glass or tempered laminated glass.
