Tempered Curved Glass Processing:
- Cutting the glass:
The glass sheets are cut to the desired size and shape based on the requirements of the final product.
- Cleaning:
The glass sheets are thoroughly cleaned to remove any dirt, dust, or contaminants that may affect the quality of the laminated glass.
- Edge grinding:
The edges are ground or polished according to customers' requirements.
- Heat bending:
The glass will be processed first to make it into the curved tempered glass. The glass is reheated to a high temperature and then rapidly cooled using jets of air. This process creates a state of compressive stress on the surface of the glass, making it stronger and more resistant to impact.
Curved Laminated Glass Processing:
- Assembling the layers:
The glass sheets and the interlayer (PVB film or SGP film) are stacked together. The interlayer is placed between the glass sheets, ensuring that it covers the entire surface area.
- Pressing:
The assembled glass and interlayer are placed in a vacuum bag or a vacuum chamber. The bag or chamber is sealed, and the air is removed to create a vacuum. This helps to eliminate any air bubbles between the layers.
- Heating and pressing:
The vacuum-sealed assembly is then placed in an autoclave, which subjects it to heat and pressure. The temperature and pressure are carefully controlled to ensure proper bonding of the glass and interlayer. The heat causes the interlayer to melt and bond with the glass, while the pressure helps to evenly distribute the interlayer between the glass layers.
- Cooling:
After the desired bonding is achieved, the assembly is slowly cooled down to room temperature. This helps to strengthen the glass and increase its resistance to breakage.
