1. What is jade sandglass
Jade sandglass is also called frosted glass, but it has no fingerprint effect and is more translucent than ordinary frosted glass. It is a kind of decorative glass with translucent effect. Its unique decorative properties can transmit light and fully illuminate on the one hand, and on the other hand, it can effectively limit and prevent clear perspective, and play a good secret effect.
Product features: The surface is even and delicate, the hand feel is smooth, the appearance is hazy and beautiful, and the light transmission is soft.
2. What is frosted glass
Frosted glass is also known as frosted glass and dark glass. It is produced by machining ordinary flat glass to a uniform surface by mechanical sandblasting, hand grinding or hydrofluoric acid etching. Due to the rough surface, the light causes diffuse reflection, light transmission and non-perspective, it can make the indoor light soft and not dazzling, and its particles are larger than the surface particles of jade sand glass. It is usually used for concealed bathrooms, toilets, and office doors, and needs to face the window when using it.
3. What is the difference between jade sand glass and frosted glass
1) The production process is different
The production process of frosted glass is mainly to blast ordinary flat glass by special machinery or grind it by hand, and process its surface into a uniform surface, which can also be treated by hydrofluoric acid corrosion.
Jade sandglass, simply put, is frosted glass. Its production process is mainly to paste a layer of frosted protective film on the surface of the glass, input the designed pattern through the engraving machine, and after engraving it, remove the excess part by hand, and then go through the frosting liquid treatment and water. It is finished after rinsing and has beautiful patterns on the front and back.
2) Different surface roughness
The surface roughness of frosted glass and frosted glass is different. In general, the particles on the surface of the frosted glass are larger than those on the surface of the jade sandglass, so the frosted glass is rougher than the jade sand glass.
3) Different feel
Because the production process of jade sandglass is different from that of frosted glass, its surface is more uniform and delicate, and it feels smoother to the touch. However, the frosted glass is not very smooth to the touch due to the large particles.
4) Different in nature
Jade sandglass has the property of no fingerprints. In the daily use process, even if you touch the jade sandglass with your hands, it will not easily leave fingerprints and other traces, but frosted glass does not have this property.
5) Different scope of application
Frosted glass is generally used in bathrooms, office doors and windows or partitions in rooms, but jade sandglass is often used in background walls, ceilings, dining tables, screens, porches, coffee tables or hotels, KTVs and other places, not only It has good shielding and strong decorative effect.
The biggest difference between jade sand glass and frosted glass is that jade sandglass will not become transparent even if it sticks to water glass. Frosted glass, on the other hand, becomes transparent when it gets stuck to water.
